Archery King is a 2D archery game that launched on Friday, October 16, 2026. Your enemies are living targets that walk toward you without a sound. Shoot them down, grab the gold and crafting materials they leave behind, and pour it all back into a stronger bow.

Left-click to shoot at the approaching monsters

Move your mouse to aim, and left-click to lose an arrow. Since the targets advance in a specific direction, every shot requires a choice: take down the nearest enemy for safety or aim for a dense cluster to maximize the piercing power of your arrows. As the waves progress, the number of enemies increases, and the pace of combat intensifies.

Gather resources and upgrade

Enemies drop gold and crafting materials when they die. Hover your mouse over the drops to pick them up. Spend that loot on damage, fire rate, extra arrows per shot, and piercing.

Away from the fight, swing a pickaxe to mine coal, iron, gold, and gems. Those materials go into crafting gear, and you can socket runes into it to make your bow hit harder.

You’ll move through five archer classes, and each one plays a little differently. If you want to go further, there are also the Mastery, Prime, and Awaken systems. A wolf and a bear can join you in battle too. The wolf attacks enemies while the bear soaks up hits.

How to power up your archer fast

  • Step 1: Put your gold into the fire first. Do it before the big swarms show up. The faster you shoot, the more targets you kill before they reach you.
  • Step 2: Unlock multi-shot, then add piercing. They work best together. Each shot sends out several arrows, and every arrow can pass through a whole row of enemies.
  • Step 3: Get a better pickaxe early on. It brings in a steady flow of coal, iron, gold, and gems, so you won’t run short on crafting materials.
  • Step 4: Make new gear from what you’ve mined, then socket runes into it to tune your build however you like.
  • Step 5: Level Mastery before you turn on damage boosts. Solid base stats make every later bonus count for more.
  • Step 6: Bring in your companions when waves get harder. The wolf bites, the bear takes the hits, and you stop carrying the fight alone.
  • Step 7: Evolve your class and unlock Prime and Awaken. Save this late-game stage for when the earlier steps are done.

Archery King Tips: Build a Deadly Archer from Your First Arrow

Pick up items as soon as enemies drop them. Gold and materials left on the screen should be collected promptly to keep your upgrade funds flowing.

Aim for enemies lined up in a row. Once you have a piercing effect, a single arrow can hit multiple targets; look for angles that let you pierce through an entire line rather than picking off enemies one by one.

Take down the closest enemy before they get too near. You only lose health when enemies reach you, so prioritize the ones in the front.

Don’t dump all your gold into a single stat. High damage paired with a slow fire rate will still leave you overwhelmed by crowds; balance your investment between damage, attack speed, and multi-shot.

Consider returning to the mines if you get stuck. When enemies become too strong to progress, upgrading your pickaxe and gathering more materials is often faster than struggling to push through.

Check an item’s stats before you craft it. Just hover over it. There’s no point burning materials on gear that doesn’t suit your build.

Time your companions. Run the wolf when you want to melt mobs faster, and swap to the bear once things get hairy and you need something to take the hits.

Once you’re done with Archery King and want something totally different, give Last Light a go.
