Play Backrooms: Escape Together online for free. Survive with up to 5 friends through 11 randomly generated Backrooms floors: each run is an entirely different experience.
Backrooms: Escape Together is a co-op survival horror game for 1 to 6 players, set in the Backrooms universe. The game features endless golden corridors, flickering fluorescent lights, and the feeling that something is watching you from behind.
Photorealistic graphics and proximity voice chat completely blur the lines between you and the game. When a teammate dies, you hear their scream echo down the corridor and know that whatever killed them is coming towards you.
There are 11 completely randomly generated floors, each featuring different layouts, item placements, and entities that appear each time you play.
What makes Backrooms: Escape Together is scarier than most co-op horror games because of its entity system. Each entity has its own behaviour and hunting methods and reacts differently to stimuli. What makes one leave may attract another.
There is no foolproof way to play. Knowing how one entity works at one level doesn't mean you're ready for the next.

Playing alone is a truly lonely and stressful experience. Playing with friends is entirely different. Proximity voice chat means you only hear your teammates when they're close to you in the game. When their voices fade and disappear, you know something's wrong.
The inevitable hilarious moments of watching teammates wander into dark corners and yell are a unique experience in Backrooms: Escape Together that no other game can replicate.
1 to 6 players. You can play solo or co-op with friends or strangers in public rooms.
Currently there are 11 floors, and new floors will be added continuously during Early Access.
You only hear your teammates' voices when they're close to you in the game. The further away they are, the quieter the sound becomes, creating a sense of real space and increasing tension when you're separated from your group.
No. The layout, item placement, and entity appearance are randomly generated each time, even within the same floor.
Yes. The photorealistic graphics and spatial sound are designed to create the most realistic experience possible. Those new to horror games should start with friends instead of playing solo.
Backrooms: Escape Together doesn't try to scare you with cheap jump scares. It builds tension slowly through its photorealistic environment, spatial sound, entities with their own AI, and complete uncertainty about what awaits you on the next floor. If after the dark corridors you need something lighter, then play Free Kicks World Cup 2026!
