Look for chances to pull off a Mega Dunk, an Alley-Oop, or break away on a Fast Break whenever the opening's there. On the other end, you're blocking, stealing, and shifting position to stay in front of whoever's got the ball. Keep an eye on the score and clock, because only one team wins when time's up.

The Alley-Oop operates on a similar mechanic but requires seamless coordination between two players in mid-air; in 2-player mode, pulling this move off feels just as satisfying as doing it against the AI.
