Bounce Blast starts with one simple move. You pull back the ring ropes and let go. A masked wrestler then flies across a world made of candy. Below him waits a crowd of angry gummies, and every one you land on throws you higher. The whole game is about keeping that bounce alive for as long as you can.
Bounce Blast is an arcade launcher game about distance. Your best run is measured in meters and goes on a leaderboard with your name and country flag. Coins from every run pay for upgrades, so each launch can carry you a little farther than the last.
How far you can go depends on the mode you play. Story Mode is open from the start. You break through five giant walls, and each wall opens a new zone. The path runs from the sunny Meadow to a sugary Kitchen finale, with four more zones in between. Stopwatch Mode is a time-attack run that unlocks after the second wall. Once the story ends, The Rift opens with endless runs and mixed-up zones.
Walls do more than open new zones. Some of them also bring new wrestlers into the ring. Three more join Blue Blaster over time, and each has a style of his own. Blue Blaster slams and Scarlet Spark hooks. El Halcón glides. Fluffy flies, hooks and smashes.
On a computer, drag with the mouse and release to launch. Touch screens use drag, tap and hold. The game plays best in landscape mode. Early runs last under a minute, so a disastrous launch costs little.
Every gummy you land on squashes under you and keeps you in the air. A gauge on the left powers your rocket slam. Click, tap or press Space to dive into the crowd. You bounce back up harder than before, and then you slam again until the wrestler skids to a stop.
When the run ends, the shop is waiting. Coins buy 15 upgrades. These include a stronger launch, more bounce and faster wall breaking. Buddies can save a run that is about to end. Piñatas add coins and bonus items. Three missions at a time pay out candy and multiply your gains.

Not every gummy is just a bounce pad. Some carry cash. Others explode. A few light you up like a firework or drag you underground. According to the game, riding these special gummies lets you fly much farther.
Police gummies slow you down and can end a run, and police-control upgrades help you deal with them. A giant wall also ends your run unless you are fast enough to break through. Since speed decides the wall, it makes sense to look at wall-breaking upgrades before you reach the next one.
With a mouse, drag and release to launch and click to rocket slam. Space also works for the slam. Touch screens use drag, tap and hold.
Stopwatch mode opens during the story, right after you break the second giant wall. The Rift opens once you finish the story. Reach Rift level 5 and you can time travel, which restarts the story with your progress kept.
Scarlet Spark joins you after the first wall, and El Halcón arrives after the third. Fluffy comes from the recipe book. You collect recipe pieces until it is complete.
Bounce Blast gives you a big launch, a rhythm of slams and a reason to try one more run. Each upgrade, each wall and each new wrestler pushes your distance a little higher.
