RV There Yet? is a chaotic cooperative game for up to four players, where a group of friends control an old RV through the wilds of Mabutts Valley. After a fun camping trip, the main road is blocked, forcing everyone to take a side trip filled with rough terrain, deep rivers, broken bridges, and ferocious animals.
Nuggets Entertainment released RV There Yet? on Steam on October 21, 2025, and the game quickly became a hit, garnering over 1.3 million plays in its first week and receiving Very Positive reviews from the community.
The story begins gently, like a normal road trip. The group has just finished a relaxing camping trip, drinking beer, smoking, grilling meat, and laughing around the campfire. As they prepare to go home, the main road is suddenly blocked. Left with no choice, the group drove the old RV onto a side road through Mabutts Valley, a place no map encourages them to go through.
With only a small supply of food, a few frozen burgers, and a slim hope, the group faced harsh nature: ferocious bears, poisonous snakes, treacherous terrain, and a car that kept breaking down. The only goal was to survive and find a way out of Route 65. Although the plot was simple, it was the surprises and funny situations that turned the journey home into a memorable story.
The gameplay revolved around controlling the RV from the starting point to Route 65, overcoming a series of obstacles. Each player took on a different role but could flexibly change:
Proximity chat is vital, helping coordinate the construction of plank bridges, dodge bears with bear spray, cure snake venom, and revive teammates. Gas stations act as checkpoints for refueling, repairing vehicles, and resting. Playing with four players is a fantastic experience, while playing solo or with bots is much less enjoyable.
Clearly assign roles from the start: one driver, one winch, two repairmen, and defenders. Always keep at least one person near the car for emergency repairs. Use gas stations as rest stops, respawns, and planning points. Avoid tempting shortcuts, as they often lead to difficult-to-rescue stuck situations. Experiment creatively with winches and planks; sometimes the silliest solutions work best. Stay calm when things get chaotic; it’s the coordination under pressure that makes great memories.
The game stands out for its perfect blend of physical chaos and team coordination. The vibrant cartoon graphics, vivid sound of roaring engines, distant bear roars, and proximity chat turn every argument into a real experience. From arguing about who’s driving to screaming when a bear suddenly appears.
Little details like smoking unlimited cigarettes to speed up, drinking beer to get stronger, or grilling burgers on a charcoal grill attached to the back of the car create a realistic and fun road trip atmosphere. The moments when a plank slides off a bridge, an RV flips over, or the whole group is thrown out of the car when using the winch incorrectly always bring big laughs.
RV There Yet? is living proof that a game doesn't need top-notch graphics or a complex story to become a phenomenon. With chaotic physics, vivid proximity chat, heroic winches, and dozens of tear-jerking situations, the game turns the journey home into a memorable friendship party. Just one map but endless replayability thanks to the creativity of the player and the friends who are willing to go through the hilarious hell together.
