Play as a self-taught "doctor" in the horror surgery game Sorry Bob. One mistake: the patient stops breathing. Can you save Bob?

What's new about Sorry Bob game?

Sorry Bob is released by Azgames on February 13, 2026. Sorry Bob is a deliberate medical nightmare, where the game developers intentionally design everything wrong to punish the player's overconfidence.

You play as Nigel Burke, a man with no qualifications and no experience but the confidence of a 20-year-old doctor. Your mission is to operate on Bob, a poor patient, while he is still alive, using your left hand hovering above and five fingers controlling five separate keys.

Sorry Bob: Participate in a typical surgery

Sorry Bob is played from a first-person perspective, with Bob's open chest and your left hand hovering eerily above.

  • Read the objective: Identify the organ that needs transplanting. Don't rush to operate. Check the inventory first.
  • Break the rib cage: Use a hammer and saw, but not to cut, but to smash the ribs. One slip of the hand, and your blood pressure drops by 20%.
  • Remove damaged organs: Pick out the old, rotten spleen and kidney. If you don't remove them, you won't be able to see where to place the new organs.
  • Transplant: Place the new organs in the correct position before your blood pressure drops to zero.

Sounds simple? But the problem lies in your hands.

Game Controls: Intentionally "Wrong"

You don't control the whole hand, but each finger individually.  This is what makes Sorry Bob unique. Every action is intentionally "wrong." The physics in the game cause knives to slip from your hand, clamps to fall, and even a slightly "too forceful" blow is enough to tear an aorta.

  • [A]: Little finger
  • [W]: Ring finger
  • [E]: Middle finger
  • [R]: Index finger
  • [Spacebar]: Thumb
  • Mouse: Move hand position
  • Left Click: Lower hand, grasp object
  • Right Click (Hold): Rotate wrist

FAQs

Do I need medical knowledge to play Sorry Bob?

  • No. Even Nigel Burke didn't have a degree, so neither do you. Just patience and a heart of steel.

Why can't I hold the scalpel?

  • Because you're trying to grip it with your whole hand. Relax each finger. Bring your hand closer, press each key A-W-E-R to close your fingers, then click the mouse.

My blood is dropping too fast; how do I save Bob?

  • Always have a syringe ready in your other hand. Before surgery, have the syringe ready. As soon as you see red blood, inject it immediately. Don't wait until "when needed."

How many surgeries are there in the game?

  • The game features numerous cases that escalate in difficulty, each involving a unique organ and a dynamic operating room environment.
