Drift Masters is a free-to-play 3D drifting game featuring mountain roads, neon-lit city streets, and snowy tracks. Chain together long drifts, rack up multipliers, earn cash, and customize your sports car.

Chase the Longest Drift

  • The goal in Drift Masters is unique: sustain your drift for as long as possible while avoiding any collisions.

You start with a sports car and access to three different tracks. A score counter runs continuously as long as you are drifting; successfully navigating a series of consecutive corners triggers a score multiplier. Hit a wall, however, and your progress is wiped out.

Three Distinct Tracks

  • The "Race Track" is a wide asphalt circuit set against a backdrop of mountains, the perfect place to get a feel for how the car loses traction.
  • The "City" track winds through industrial zones and illuminated urban landscapes, featuring much sharper, more demanding turns.
  • Then there’s the "Snowy Track," characterized by slippery surfaces, bridges, and trackside grandstands. You’ll notice the lack of grip the moment you hit the first corner.

How to Play Drift Masters

  • Steer using the A/D keys or the left and right arrow keys.
  • Use W to accelerate and S to brake or reverse.
  • The spacebar acts as the handbrake—use it to kick the rear end of the car out.
  • Press F to engage Nitro and L to toggle your headlights.

Tap the handbrake rather than holding it down. A quick pull just before entering a corner is all it takes to initiate a drift; holding it too long will cause the car to spin out, ending your drift chain.

Keep your eyes on the track boundaries—hitting a wall or barrier will instantly reset your score chain. Plan ahead and anticipate where your drift will end before you commit to a turn. The HUD displays your drift score, personal best, multiplier, current lap, lap time, and fastest lap. Since each session spans several laps, a botched corner at the start doesn’t mean your run is over.

The Garage

Your scores are converted into credits, which you can then invest in your car. Paint jobs and rims cost 2,500 credits each. If you want to fine-tune how your car handles, you can use sliders to adjust camber, ride height, spring stiffness, shock absorbers, gear shifting, and clutch sensitivity. You can also customize the color of your headlights and the color of the tire smoke.

The gameplay loop is solid: drift, earn credits, upgrade your car, and then drift some more. Upgrading your vehicle gives you a clear purpose for chasing high scores, and you’ll notice the difference the very next time you hit the track.
