Granny Horror 3 is a first-person horror game: hide from Granny, Grandpa, and Slendrina, search for items, solve puzzles, and escape a dark mansion within five days. Do you dare to take on the challenge?

Granny Horror 3: Sneak, Hide, Escape in 5 Days

You wake up inside a dark mansion, where three pursuers are stalking your every move. You have a limited time of five days to escape. Even the smallest mistake could come at a high price.

Know your pursuers

  • Before moving, keep in mind that each enemy reacts to different triggers:
  • Granny is drawn to noise—such as objects falling or floorboards creaking.
  • Grandpa only attacks when he sees you; he carries a shotgun.
  • Slendrina appears unexpectedly in dark corridors. Looking directly at her will distort your vision.

Choose the right difficulty level

There are five difficulty settings, from Practice up to Extreme. If you’re new, start with Practice. You can explore the mansion freely and learn the locations of rooms and hiding spots since there are no enemies. Once you feel comfortable, advance to Easy or Normal. You can also tweak the game to your taste: have Granny, Grandpa or both in the house; switch Slendrina on or off; add the Limping or Nightmare effects; and skip the intro if you’d rather get straight to the action.

Observe before you act

When the game starts, don’t rush off. Remain still for a few seconds, listen, and survey your surroundings. Work out where the enemies are, which doors open, and where you could duck out of sight.

Search systematically

Keys, spark plugs, weapons and machine parts turn up in drawers, cabinets and secret compartments. Go through one room at a time instead of jumping around. That way you won’t miss anything, and you won’t have to walk back into dangerous areas just to check something you skipped.

Pick up items carefully

Anything that hits the floor makes noise, and Granny will come straight for it. Take only what you need, and think about when and where you put things down.

Fit items into the correct mechanisms

Getting out means working through a chain of linked puzzles: locked gates, security barriers, electrical systems and the escape mechanism itself. Every time you find something new, ask yourself what it might open or switch on among the things you’ve already come across.

Hide when pursued

If an enemy gets close, slip under a bed, climb into a wardrobe, or put an obstacle between you and them to break their line of sight. Crouching helps too, since you move more quietly. Wait until they’ve wandered off before you come out.

Deal with bear traps

If you step into a trap, look down and press the 'F' key to break free as quickly as possible. Staying put in a trap is the easiest way to get caught.

Make use of the teddy bear

The teddy bear triggers special interactions and hidden objectives. When you are safe and have some spare time, explore this further, and you might uncover some interesting secrets.

Make your escape

Once you have gathered all the necessary items, activate any remaining mechanisms and dash towards the exit. Please complete the task before the end of the fifth day.

Tips for playing smarter

  • Go after the items that open up the mansion first, like keys and machine parts. The side objectives can wait until you’re safe.
  • Move slowly when near Granny. A single creak of the floor is enough to give away your position.
  • Avoid long, straight corridors when Grandpa is around, as he will shoot the moment he spots you.
  • Look away immediately if you see Slendrina. Do not linger or stare.Remember the hiding spots in each part of the mansion. When something’s coming, you won’t have time to look.
  • Keep the pace up. The five-day limit doesn’t leave much room for wandering around aimlessly.
  • Use "Practice" mode to hone your skills, especially if you want to take on higher difficulty levels.
