Hold the left mouse button (or tap the screen) to accelerate and release to decelerate. The car will automatically steer along the track, but releasing your finger at the right moment before entering a corner will significantly improve traction and prevent skidding. Speed isn't the most important thing; knowing when to release the accelerator is key to finishing the fastest.
Before officially entering the competition, you'll undergo a short test: complete 3 laps in under 40 seconds to receive your "license." This warm-up helps you get used to the controls and ensures you've mastered the rhythm before the actual race.

Release your finger from the screen just before entering a corner to allow the car to decelerate naturally. Then, tap again just after passing the apex of the corner to regain momentum and accelerate again. With practice, your fingers will be able to time it perfectly without needing to decelerate too much.
Repeat the same track many times to memorize each corner. Consider participating in tournaments regularly, as that is the main way to accumulate points and climb the ranks.
