As kids, we used to use beer bottle caps as players and marbles as balls, drawing a pitch with chalk and flicking them around all afternoon. Soccer Kick, published by Azgames, recreates this exact game but adds a proper pitch, online opponents, and a leaderboard. You can play it instantly right in your browser.
It is a turn-based, top-down 2D soccer game. Each team fields five round bottle caps instead of human players. You don't run or kick in the style of FIFA; instead, you select a cap, pull it backward to aim, and release to flick it at the ball or the opposing defense.
Controls require only a mouse:
Release the mouse button to flick. The cap hits the ball, which ricochets off other caps and the arena walls, often leading to spectacular goals via rebounds—sometimes even scoring when you didn't intend to.
Every win earns you coins. Spend them on tournaments, better teams and tougher arenas.
Pick your national flag, design your own club, and unlock 40+ formations as you level up.

Upgrade to Diamond, Eagle, Psycho, Fangs or Pentagon caps. Each one has its own weight, power and accuracy. Heavy caps hit hard but are tricky to aim. Light caps are quick and nimble, but get knocked around easily. Pick whichever fits how you play.
Between matches, you can check out the in-game minigames:

Don't always rush into attack. A solid defensive formation in front of the goal is usually more effective than taking reckless shots.
Use the arena walls. Ricocheting the ball makes it harder for the opponent to defend than a straight shot.
Don't always pull back with full power. Flicking too hard can knock your cap out of position, leaving your goal exposed to the opponent.
Start in Practice mode. I skipped it the first time and lost my first three online matches, mostly because I had no idea how far the ball would bounce off the wall. Ten minutes of practice fixes that.
Watch the clock. The turn timer is short. If it runs out, you lose the turn, and the other player gets a free shot at your open goal. Don’t spend ages lining up the perfect angle.
If you want a quick soccer game you can open in a browser and finish in a few minutes, yes. It’s nothing like FIFA or EA FC, and it doesn’t try to be. Some goals come from careful aiming, and some are just lucky bounces. The two-player mode is the best part if you’ve got a friend sitting next to you. A downside is the online competitive aspect: if you run into veteran players with superior tops, you’ll likely find yourself heavily outmatched in those early matches.
