Wave Race is an addictive zigzag arcade game. Hold to rise, release to fall, and dodge spikes, walls, and tight gaps as you race through a glowing neon space tunnel!

How to Play Wave Race

Upon entering the game, you will see three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Hard (the latter two must be unlocked through gameplay). During the game, the top-right corner of the screen displays your time, distance travelled, and the number of gems collected; this helps you track your performance and gives you a benchmark to try to beat in future runs.

Controls Wave

You need to wave the arrow through narrow gaps, past sharp spikes and walls, and around rotating obstacles without crashing.

• PC: Hold the left mouse button, the Space bar, or the W key to ascend; release to descend. Press P to pause.
• Mobile: Hold your finger on the screen to ascend; release to descend.

Easy-to-Follow Tips for Wave Race

Use light, quick taps rather than holding the button down. Holding it too long causes the arrow to shoot up at a sharp angle, making it easy to crash into the ceiling. Short, rhythmic taps offer much better control than holding it based on instinct.

Look a bit further ahead; don't fixate solely on the arrow. Looking ahead allows you to spot narrow passages and obstacles early, giving you time to react.

Remember that the arrow falls automatically but does not rise on its own—a detail many beginners overlook. To gain altitude, you must tap early before reaching an incline; the arrow needs a moment to change direction, and a late tap often leads to an immediate crash.

In narrow sections, use continuous short taps instead of trying to fly a long, unbroken arc. A quick, steady "tap-and-release" rhythm makes navigating tight gaps much easier.

Avoid making sudden, jerky movements to correct your course. It is a common reflex to yank your hand hard when you drift off-course, but doing so often causes you to crash straight into the opposite wall.
