Robber Run is a 2D stealth puzzle game released by AZGames on June 22, 2026. Your mission is to control Bob as he infiltrates buildings, avoiding guards and cameras to steal treasure. Being discovered means instant defeat.
Stealth is the only weapon in the game. No guns are given. No health regeneration, no attack button, no way to attack guards and escape. The only things you have are darkness, time, and the ability to read your surroundings faster than your enemies detect you.
You play as Bob, a modern-day Robin Hood-style thief, infiltrating corrupt corporations from Paris to Tokyo. Each city is a new setting, and each building is a unique puzzle with its own security system. The mission is to steal the treasure and escape unscathed, which is sometimes harder than breaking in.
The biggest mistake new Robber Run players make is moving as soon as the level starts. This game rewards those who stand still and observe, not those who act quickly. Before pressing any keys, there are three things you need to read:
The guard's route. Each guard follows a fixed and repeating route. Standing still long enough will let you know exactly when they turn their backs and when they move towards you. This isn't luck; it's information.
The camera's rotation angle. The camera rotates in a regular cycle. The camera's blind spots aren't marked on the screen, but they're perfectly readable if you watch two complete cycles before moving.
The laser grid's position. The lasers don't move but often block the places you want to go. Find a detour first; don't try to squeeze through without knowing the timing.
Don't take all the loot at once. Bonus loot is often located in high-risk positions right next to patrol routes or camera angles. Complete the main objective first, remember the location of the extra loot, and return to retry if you want to collect everything. Attempting to collect everything in a single run often results in failure.
Hug in the shadows even when there are no cameras. Guards have limited vision, and shadows lower the risk of detection even when you're in their line of sight. This tactic is a mechanism many people overlook, thinking that simply avoiding direct line of sight is enough.
Invest in outfits early. Outfits aren't just cosmetics; some significantly increase hacking speed, shortening the time spent waiting to finish hacking, thus reducing the time exposed to the risk of detection.
Guards with their backs turned doesn't mean absolute safety. Some levels have guards with wider-than-normal peripheral vision. If you're behind them at the right time and still get detected, try taking another step back before acting.
Escaping is just as important as breaking in. Many players focus entirely on reaching the objective and forget to plan their escape route. Once the treasure is obtained, the guards sometimes change their patrol route. Reread the situation before running.

Stand still and count. Most guards complete a patrol cycle in 8 to 12 seconds. Count two complete cycles to confirm timing, then act precisely on the third second when they start turning their backs. Avoid acting during the first cycle, as you may be caught midway.
Prioritize hack speed boosters before anything else. You are most likely to be detected while waiting for hacks, so shortening that time directly reduces risk at every level.
Yes. Blind spots are usually located directly below the camera and in the back corner facing it. Stand close to the wall and monitor the camera's maximum angle of view—the space outside that corner is a stable blind spot that can be used as a safe stopping point.
Abandon loot and run when the guard has changed patrol routes after you have secured the main objective. Some levels trigger this event. If you see guards blocking your way back when they weren't there before, abandon the bonus loot and immediately retry later rather than losing the entire run.
The Tokyo levels are generally considered the hardest because they combine three elements simultaneously: guards, cameras, and a laser grid in a smaller space than the Paris levels. A smaller space means fewer path options and less time to react to incidents.
Constant movement. Robber Run has no timer, no time pressure forcing you to be quick. Beginners often move because they feel standing still is a waste of time, but in reality, standing still and observing long enough is the most time-saving way because you don't have to retry.
Robber Run, with its clean puzzle design, authentic spy thriller atmosphere, and the "observe before acting" mechanism, is something few casual browser games can achieve. If, after intense stealth gameplay, you want to switch to something entirely different—no planning, no need to read patrol routes, just pure survival by reflex—then play Aqua Bits. The ocean awaits your exploration!
